Make your holidays a little more festive with this cute, quirky, and easy to make taco ornament! It’s a fun addition to your Christmas Tree and makes a unique gift, too! The pattern works up quickly, making it a great DIY project that will leave you with plenty of time to work on other crafts this holiday season!

If you’re just now tuning in for my 12 Weeks of Christmas, please be sure to check out last week’s post, too – The Merry Mermaid Ornament!

When I was coming up with ideas for my 12 Weeks of Christmas event for my blog, I knew that many of them would be food-related since I love food! When it comes to cute and unique foods to crochet, tacos are definitely at the top of the list! They are easy to make and fun to customize. All of the “ingredients” are made separately and sewn on during finishing, so you can get creative and make more/less of certain ones and arrange them as you please!

(Pin it for later!)

And besides being so fun and easy to make, tacos just happen to be so many people’s favorite food! I never realized how popular they were until I encountered lots of cute and silly taco-related memes and sayings all over the internet. If you’re bored and want a good laugh, I highly recommend Googling some!

I managed to find the perfect color yarn for the taco shell, which is another thing I’m really excited about regarding this pattern! It’s “Mustard” in Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice. It’s just the right shade of yellow/gold – any lighter or darker and it just wouldn’t have that “taco shell” vibe! You can find Mustard on Amazon HERE!

So if you’re looking for something really unique for your tree this year – or even better yet, you’re making it as a gift for someone on your holiday gift list – then you’re in the right place!

Ready to make your holidays a little spicier with this terrific taco? Then let’s get started!
