What a sweet treat these little cake pop cuties are! They are fun, fast, easy to make, and use very little yarn. That makes this pattern a go-to stash buster! They’re so much fun as kitchen decor, toys, or even party favors! The possibilities are endless!

Pin it for later!

Do these cake pops look familiar? It’s because I was very lucky to be a guest post contributor on the Yarn Punk blog in March 2020! This is the second time I was honored as a guest blogger for Yarn Punk – the first was my Mermaid Triangle Scarf! I always have a blast being a Yarn Punk guest – please be sure to go check out Yarn Punk (HERE!) to see more fun, awesome, unique patterns!

This is the perfect pattern for someone learning to crochet in the round. It’s simple, quick, and really cute to look at afterwards! If you love other arts and crafts, you’ll also love getting to glue the little treat sticks to assemble these cuties! (Yes, those are real treat sticks – like the kind you’d use for actual cake pops – making this a great toy for older kids!)

The yarn used for the cake pops in the photos here are Big Twist Sincerely in “Rainbow Confetti” and I Love This Yarn in “Fruit Salad”. Sadly, Rainbow Confetti is no longer available in stores, but the pattern contains some suggested substitutes! Any medium weight yarn will do, but if you want the “sprinkled” look, your best bet is a “speckled” yarn (yarn with different colors dotted throughout). One substitute is Lion Brand’s Hand Dyed Heaven in “Jawbreaker”. It’s a lovely blend of different colors speckled throughout the skein! Find some on Amazon HERE!

And if you’re looking to stock up on some of the other supplies used in this pattern, like glue and treat sticks, those can also be found on Amazon:

So who’s ready to make their day a little sweeter with some cake pops?! I know I am – let’s go!!!
