It’s time to have a mer-magical spa day with these cute, fun, reusable Seashell Washcloths! These work up so quickly with cotton yarn and the shell stitch, and would be the perfect compliment to my Clamshell Scrubbies! Have an entire mermaid spa day when you crochet the complete set! These textured washcloths will brighten up any beauty routine, and can also be used in the kitchen and around the house. They make excellent gifts and would also be a fun, profitable staple to have at your craft fair booth! The possibilities are endless!

Seashell Washcloths

My Clamshell Scrubbies were so much fun to make that I knew I had to make a few additional spa accessories to make them a set! The cotton yarn used for these washcloths makes them durable and absorbent. Since they’re fairly small in size, they’re also great stashbusters! The pattern calls for a very simple repetition of the shell stitch. This stitch is so oceanic and pretty, and it also gives the washcloth a nice texture! Looking for other mermaid patterns? Check out my whole mermaid section of the blog HERE!

This pattern works best with cotton yarn, since it’s absorbent and easy to clean. Most of the yarns I used here were Lily Sugar n Cream Cotton – they come in tons of colors and are very affordable! You could make several washcloths with just one tiny skein. Find them on Amazon:
