Rainbow Wall Hanging
Rainbows are the perfect way to add a color splash to any room. They are all the rage for nursery decor and kids rooms due to their bright and cheery look! And kids of all ages can enjoy a fun rainbow too! This particular piece is being used in my craft room as a way to add color to my white walls, as well as a fun way to hang photos! This wall hanging is so versatile that it looks adorable by itself or as a cute, casual bulletin board – just add string or yarn and some mini clothespins!
Love rainbows? Then you will love my other rainbow crochet patterns! Check them out HERE!
The yarn I used here is basic, durable acrylic craft yarn in pastel colors – just right for a bright and cheery piece of wall decor! The mint yarn I used was from Michaels – it’s SO hard to find a good mint color yarn these days! One of my fave colors by Red Heart With Love appears to be discontinued. But if you’re looking for a great substitute that you can buy fast on Amazon, I recommend this fun minty color by Caron:

Hangers
Lining up with outer edge of first (Orchid) color section, join Baby Pink at top of piece and ch 9. Sl st back into same st as started in. Fasten off. Rep on other side of piece.
Fringe
Cut eight 15 inch strands of each color. Fold each strand in half and pull through bottom edge of Rainbow (4 strands per color section on each side – see first two photos below). Trim ends to make even. (Third photo below shows finished piece.)
