Pretty Paws Pet Bandana
Many of you are already familiar with my new furry best friend, Buffy, who we adopted nearly three months ago. Raising her into our family and watching her grow has been such a fun and wild experience, and I’m grateful for her every day!
The question many of you had upon finding out we had brought Buffy home was: when are you going to crochet accessories for her?! Well, the last few months have flown by and I’ve finally gotten a chance to make a cute, basic bandana that can be personalized in so many ways. For this first version, I’ve decided to embellish the scarf with fun paw print appliqués. But in the future, keep an eye out for all different kinds of scarves and accessories, and maybe even some “doggy and me” sets!!!
For this project, I highly recommend a “light” or DK sized yarn, since the bandana is a square that’s folded together to make a bandana. If your yarn is too thick, the bandana may come out “bulkier”. And if your dog is anything like mine, they don’t want to be *too* bundled up!! So I used Bernant Baby Softee, a pretty baby yarn that comes in lots of colors! Find some on Amazon:
