Hooded Bear Blanket – Crochet Pattern
This is a BEAR-Y special crochet pattern! This hooded blanket is soft, cozy, and cute to boot! The pattern is extremely easy and is a fairly fast blanket to make thanks to the fluffy, chunky yarn used. To top it off – literally – there are little bear cub ears on the hood of the blanket! What a cute idea for kids of all ages!
Pin it for later!
Since the blanket is One Size Fits Most for kids and adults, you can crochet this adorable hooded blanket for just about anyone! The blanket is so soft and the simple addition of the bear cub ears just send this whole piece into cuteness overdrive!
Hooded blankets are so much fun at any time of year. They’re great for cooler seasons, but also perfect for snuggling up in front of a movie after a long day of being outside. What a cozy idea for movie nights, game nights, or rainy day activities!

What really makes this bear blanket so special is the fluffy yarn used to make it! It works up so quickly and has such a soft feel thanks to the Bernat Blanket yarn used for the majority of the blanket. You can find Bernat Blanket in Sand, the color used for this project, on Amazon HERE!
The edging on this blanket is really the icing on the cake, as the pom pom yarn just perfectly accentuates the fluffy look of the piece! The yarn is an old favorite of mine, Red Heart Pomp-a-Doodle. You can find it on Amazon HERE!
So who’s ready for a big old bear hug?! Let’s get started making this sweet Bear Blanket!
