How to Make the Half Double Crochet Stitch – Video Tutorial!
Introducing my latest crochet tutorial video: the Half Double Crochet stitch! This is such an easy and versatile stitch to make. It’s halfway between a single crochet stitch and a double crochet stitch, so it’s perfect for those projects where you want your stitches to be a little bigger, but not too big!
(Pin it for later!)
A few fun project ideas where you can use the half double crochet stitch (hdc abbreviated) include my Kawaii Octopus Pattern and Cactus Pattern – they include other stitches as well, but heavily use the half double crochet in some parts. They’d make great projects for those learning the hdc who want to get some practice in!
Also, if you’re wondering what yarn is used in the cover photo, it’s the lovely Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton in Ecru. I love Lion Brand’s cotton yarn for so many different projects!
So are you ready to learn a new stitch? Then let’s get started with this video!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog! Please be sure to subscribe to my email list and follow me on social media, because I’ll be posting lots more tutorials and patterns soon!!
